I can’t embed, but, I am always checking the BBC website for new history programs and the like, and to my great surprise, somewhere above a show about court life with Richard II, was a picture of my hometown. I did a double take, for sure. It was a link to a documentary following Barra folk around Cape Breton, from BBC Alba. What a delightful surprise! They all stay in Mabou (with the nuns!), and I got to see familiar faces, like that of my high school history teacher, above. Margie was a fine teacher, and is a great champion of culture.
You may enjoy if you’re from the area! Just passing along.

Barra in the Hebrides? I work with someone who used to live there a couple years ago!
