Just posted recently on Youtube is another Gwynne Dyer series on war, this one called The Defence of Canada from 1986.
As it states:
A three-part Canadian-centric successor to Gwynne Dyer’s “War” documentary series originally broadcast in 1986. This series examines Canada’s military affairs with NATO, UN, and the United States during the last decade of the Cold War.
Very interesting! I am watching the first one now as I work and it features interviews with Canadian WWI vets, a relative rarity in war docs.

I sadly don’t know enough about my own country’s history, so I’ll definitely be checking these out later.
