Earlier today on this tumblr there were links to jokes about war (dictators in any case), so why not some education about war.  I’m bookmarking this for me as much as anyone else, since I’ve only seen bits of it.

Here is a series beautifully presented on the blog Pulse Media from it’s chopped up versions on youtube, the 1983 NFB series War: A Commentary by Gwynne Dyer.  It is, unfortunately, not on the NFB site.  Pulse seems to be missing the last episode, but there are seven there still.

War was nominated for an Academy Award, and Gwynne Dyer is a noted Canadian writer and historian.  Am looking forward to watching more.  Click on the image to go to the posting.
