Heya hey!

I need some travel advice.  Are you from England?  Have you been there?  Did you like it?  It’s the best, isn’t it.

The Leeds Comic Art Festival, Thought Bubble, is happening in November, and both Scott C. and myself are going.  However, we are doing something that I have NEVER DONE at a comic show, which is actually sticking around and seeing some things!  (people think I travel a lot and get to see things but that’s not true, all you ever see is airports, convention centers and hotels)

So we are in England for about a week and I am very excited!  Have you any places to recommend?  We are starting in London, visiting Cornwall (if we can fit that in) and then headed up to Leeds for the show.  I’d love to hear any of the places you like best!  And also places to stay!  We are thinking pretty and small and interesting places, not so much big and touristy.  I lived for a year in New York and never bothered with the Empire State Building but I did like this one cafe with a fireplace.

And of course you know, historical things are up this traveling alley.  I hear England has some … history…

If we end up going to a place you suggested I’ll send you a little sketch of the visit!  You can mail any ideas here - beatonna @ gmail dot com

By the way, the coffee shop with the fireplace is called House of Small Wonder (adorable) but unfortunately, it looks like they’ve moved.  Ain’t it always the way!

See you in November!
