Question for followers

Hey there!

Whenever I post a photo of artwork from someone, I make the photo itself a link back to that artist’s webpage, so you can discover more of their work!  I am a firm believer in giving credit, all the time, where you can, not just saying ‘look at this cool pic.’  Artists deserve better!  Cool drawings don’t just appear out of nowhere, someone made them!

So, with that in mind, tell me: am I doing it right?  I was thinking just now that maybe people just scroll through the pictures they see on tumblr, and don’t notice the way I’ve been linking them.  Sometimes I say 'click on the picture for more,’ but not all the time.  Just making sure!

thanks guys, I am pretty new to tumblr, in case you haven’t noticed.

Edit!

Very good very good!  Thoughtful answers already.  Do you know what?  I’ve never noticed the 'content source’ option on the right hand side of the posting section.  It’s always embarrassin’ when something super obvious escapes your attention, but hey, it happens!  Thanks friends!  I’m glad I can get 40 000 people to appreciate what an oblivious dope I am.

ps: you’re the best
