Having read (highly recommended!) Ian Mortimer’s book The Time Traveller’s Guide to Medieval England, I was pleased to find this great series based on his other similar work, The Time Traveler’s Guide to Elizabethan England.  In three parts!  This is the first.  A treat.

You’re sure to find a story you can’t stop reading on Elizabeth Kerri Mahon's blog Scandalous Women. Well researched and written!

Here is something that may interest my friends of Anthropology, Ecology and Folklore!

My friend and one time professor Kathleen Osgood is piloting a course down at the Center for Circumpolar Studies in Vermont.  It can be taken online!

Here is some info, and here also.  For more specific info, do write to Dr. Osgood herself!  And scroll down here to find out more about her studies, and the rest of the Center for Circumpolar Studies.

Best of all, Anima Borealis is being offered FREE OF CHARGE. Amazing!  (That said, tax-deductible donations to the non-profit Center are welcome.)

Register for ANIMA BOREALIS before September 3 by e-mailing Dr. Kathleen Osgood:
