Just a little sketch comic.  Click the image to go there!  September is here! Fall, and back to school!  My birthday is also at the beginning of September, so the mix of feelings gives a particular nostalgia.  I was just thinking of those days when back to school and birthdays were so darn exciting.  I don’t put a lot of fanfare in birthdays these days, but I remember this one very well. Our house was heated by wood and we’d get a cord (a bigger pile than I drew) in the fall that would sit outside until my father and uncles would chop it up.  Dad often says that even though he was always after us not to climb on it, one of the most vivid memories he has of when I was small is coming home to me sitting on it.  I think it made me feel like a lumberjack.
